These are reports on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), Bird Registration and the administration of the service. CITES Annual Import & Export data The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES UK Annual Reoprts )Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna & Flora is monitored and controlled under ClTES. The reports list all imports and exports of such species. Imports

Supplementary Report 2000 EC Certificate data - Certificate reports EC certificates
record the permissions issued to allow the movement or commercial use of specimens listed
on Annex A of the Regulations which implement CITES within the European Union (EC). The
reports detail the number and species for which certificates have been issued. Schedule 4 Bird Registration Data - Annual Registered BirdsLists the birds for a
particular year that are registered in accordance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act
1981. Birds
Registered 2004 Lists the
birds that are registered in accordance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and

4 Breeding Reports Movement of CITES specimens between Scientific
Institutions Scientific Institutions Reports Article 7 of Council of
Regulation EC 338/97 Paragraph 4 allows the movement of certain specimens between
registered Scientific Institutions, under a labelling system. The reports detail all
movements originating from registered UK Scientific Institutions. A register of UK Scientific Institutions entitled to the exemption provided by Article VII, paragraph 6, of the Convention can be found on the CITES website. Trade beteen UK Scientific Institutions Customs CITES Seizures - reports UK HM Customs & Excise
provide annually details of the specimens that they have seized and these are the figures
that they supply to satisfy the requirement within the Regulations. Customs
Seizures 1999 Transport Mortality data - Mortality reports Lists CITES species that
have arrived dead as recorded by Customs and Excise This section outlines the
costs incurred and revenue received by the Wildlife Licensing and Registration Service
during a financial year April to April. Memorandum
Trading Account 2003-4 CITES The Wildlife Licensing and Registration
Service has published a Customer Charter as part of the Governments service
initiative to raise standards of public service, aiming to process 90% of licence
applications within 15 working days and the remainder within 30 working days. A breakdown of the actual time taken to process CITES &
Bird Registration Applications against anticipated time are listed here.
